AuditsEcommerce SEO audit
A technical audit for the pages that sell.
Shopping surfaces and search engines read prices, availability and product identifiers from structured data, not from your design. MaxiMarket audits a product or category page for Schema.org Product and Offer data, merchant listing details and Open Graph previews, and for the technical SEO signals that decide whether the page can be crawled and indexed.
What it checks
- Product structured data
- Offer price and currency
- Availability and condition
- GTIN, MPN or SKU
- Shipping and returns
- Variants (ProductGroup)
- Canonical product URL
- Open Graph preview

Anatomy of a product page
What machines need to read on a product page.
Each part below is checked against Audit Standard 2026.4. The complete set of commerce checks is in the Commerce view of the rule explorer.
- The product
- A Product entity with a name, image, description, brand and a recognized identifier such as a GTIN, MPN or SKU.
- The offer
- A machine-readable price with an ISO 4217 currency, a Schema.org availability value, item condition, and no expired priceValidUntil.
- Shipping and returns
- Shipping details and a return policy, which merchant listings can show next to the price.
- Variants
- ProductGroup markup for sizes and colors, with group identifiers that match across variants.
- Reviews and ratings
- Ratings and reviews with the properties required to use them.
- The URL itself
- A canonical URL that consolidates filtered and variant URLs, an indexable page, and a crawlable breadcrumb and link structure.
- The share preview
- Open Graph title and image, so a product link shared in a chat or social post shows the product.
Real findings
Small data gaps with real consequences.
A price without a currency cannot be shown; an offer that expired last season tells shopping surfaces the price is out of date. These are findings exactly as a report states them.
The theme outputs a price but no currency.
How to fix: Add a "priceCurrency" property with the ISO 4217 currency code, such as "EUR", to each Offer and AggregateOffer.
A sale end date was never updated.
How to fix: Update or remove priceValidUntil.
Products imported without GTIN or SKU.
How to fix: Add the applicable identifier, such as "gtin13", "mpn" or "sku", to each Product entity.
One page at a time
An ecommerce page audit, not a shop crawl.
MaxiMarket audits the product or category page you submit. It also looks at up to four product-like links found on that page, one level deep, and reports which of them carry Product structured data. This page audit does not crawl your whole catalogue or validate a merchant feed. Website SEO Audit, in Early Access, can crawl up to 500 pages of a site.
Shops that render products with JavaScript are rendered automatically during the audit, so their products are checked as visitors see them. Add important product and category pages to Sites to re-audit them after changes.
