Cookies and browser storage
MaxiMarket stores only what is strictly necessary for features you ask for. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party cookies, so we don’t show a cookie banner.
What we store
| Name | Type and category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Secure-maximarket.session_token |
First-party cookie · strictly necessary (authentication and security) | Keeps you signed in after you use an email sign-in link. It holds a random session token, is HttpOnly (not readable by scripts), Secure and SameSite=Lax, and is set only when you sign in. | 30 days from sign-in, never extended. Logging out revokes the session on our server and deletes the cookie; deleting your account revokes all sessions. |
maximarket-theme |
Browser local storage · strictly necessary (interface preference you set) | Remembers the light or dark theme you choose. Stored only after you use the theme switch; contains only “light” or “dark”, is never sent to our server and is not an identifier. | Until you clear it in your browser or switch back. |
If you never sign in and never change the theme, MaxiMarket stores nothing in your browser.
Analytics without cookies
Our product analytics are recorded on our own server when you take an action, such as starting an audit. They use no cookies, browser storage, device identifiers or fingerprinting, and never store IP addresses. See the Privacy Policy.
Why there is no consent banner
EU law requires consent for storing information on your device unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested. Everything above falls under that exemption: the session cookie exists only because you chose to sign in, and the theme setting only because you chose a theme. If we ever add optional cookies or storage, such as analytics or marketing, we will ask for your consent first where required, and this page will list them.
Your choices
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Deleting the session cookie signs you out; deleting the theme setting restores the default theme.
